Psychological First Aid aims to provide you with basic knowledge and skills to help adults who are affected by the crisis in life. The crisis which includes man-made, natural and personal can be overwhelming for an individual to cope. By applying Psychological First Aid skills, you will be able to support the individual through the crisis and refer them to professional help like counsellors.
The course will also teach you to recognize signs of stress and how you can cope with stress. Furthermore, you will also learn the warning signs of suicide and what you can do to help someone with suicidal idealization.
Psychological First Aid course is in line with World Health Organization guidelines and accredited by ACC Institute of Human Services.
NOTE
During registration, the course will be shown as 4 days long.
Day 1-3 - for you to receive access to the eLearning modules to complete the Theory component
Day 4 - actual day of your live online Zoom session with SERA
At the end of the course the trainees will be able to:

Accredited by ACC Institute of Human Services, valid for 2 years from date of completion
Able to speak, read and understand English effectively
